There were a few reasons:

1. 1My partner had an ever growing wishlist on her steam account, and she was struggling to keep track of what she wanted to play next.
2. 2Most similar platforms use darker more monotone colors. I think games are art, and so the places where we keep them and talk about them should be interesting and colorful as well.
3. 3I didn't really like that other platforms didn't give you an option to customize your own profile, to showcase games you love or where you're from. My solution was to implement a modular profile, that you can add modules to, resize them, and make it your own.

Yes! If you're wondering how we keep things running, well, we pay for everything ourselves. There's no monetization right now, but if we do add some, it will never involve ads.

Connect Steam in Settings, then press Import. Your Steam profile must be public.

It can! You need to connect your steam account on your settings page, and then set up auto imports. Unfortunately there's no way to know exactly what you're playing, so all you can do is automatically add games you've played, games you own but haven't played, and games on your wishlist into their own stacks. Keep in mind this automatic import never removes games from your waffl.club, only adds them, so if you remove a game from your wishlist, it will remain in waffl.club.

Yes. Mark the stack as private in Settings. A private stack cannot go on your profile.

You can make your profile private, and that way only people that you've accepted as followers can see it. As for the data, we try to collect the minimum amount of data we can. That means no tracking and no ads. We host everything in Canada. You can read more in our privacy policy.

You can delete your account through the settings page, after logging in.

Streamers can connect their Twitch accounts and have a "Live" label on their profile when they are, well, live! We're also working on a Twitch extension to show off your profile on your channel. Youtube is planned, but we don't know when we'll get to it yet.
